Rapids: no longer can create a key with a single value?

Description

This used to work.
I want to be able to put all Rapids results in keys.
I hack the scalar-only results into a key this way (before)
now it doesn't work.
seems to me there's no way to put a single value in a key with Rapids now.
Is there? what should I do?

you can see the ast ..c() operator
but no key result now

is there something I should do to create the key beforehand?

It does create the key.
